Dr Rebecca Walker is an experienced General Practitioner who has undertaken specialist training in Menopause Care, Headache Medicine and Aesthetic Medicine.

Over her career, she has become aware of the unmet needs of men and women living with migraine and other headache conditions. She works with her patients to understand the life journey and unique features that lie behind every headache story to tailor treatment to their needs.

Rebecca has also helped many women living with life-limiting menopausal symptoms and is dedicated to supporting women through this transition. Menopause is a key time when migraine may worsen or present itself for the first time; she has supported many women who have faced the double challenge this can pose.

  • Rebecca is part of a team of specialists at the Exeter Headache Clinic, an NHS service for people with complex headache conditions. She is also a senior clinician with the National Migraine Centre, a charity supporting people with headache conditions.

    Rebecca is part of the team at Myla Health, a group of highly experienced menopause specialists equipped to manage complex menopause concerns.

  • Complimenting her clinical work, Rebecca enjoys sharing her experience and teaches on Headache Medicine and Menopause Care to fellow clinicians and to students at Exeter Medical School.

    She has written articles on migraine for magazines including Red; she has spoken on menopause for BBC Radio Devon and on migraine and new migraine-specific medications for Talk TV/Radio. She has contributed as a co-host and guest on the podcasts Heads Up and Womenkind Collective.

  • Dr Walker is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, the British Menopause Society, and the British Society for Lifestyle Medicine; she is also a member of and honorary advisor to the British Association for the Study of Headache. She is registered with the General Medical Council.
